How to maintain your headlight properly

The main cause is solar radiation. We recommend applying a sealant with a UV filter or a protective wax every 3 months to preserve the transparency of the polycarbonate.

Always use pH-neutral shampoos and clean microfibre cloths. Avoid household glass cleaners or strong degreasers, as they can chemically attack the protective coating on the headlight.

A little condensation may be normal due to temperature changes, but if water droplets persist, check the seal immediately. Internal moisture corrodes electronic components and chrome plating.

As soon as you notice a loss of shine or a rough texture to the touch. Restoring them in the early stages is more economical and prevents structural damage from becoming irreversible.

Yes, direct and continuous sunlight is the greatest enemy of modern headlights. If you do not have a garage, try to park in the shade or position your vehicle to avoid direct exposure during the middle of the day.

Absolutely. If you use halogen bulbs, make sure they have a UV filter (from reputable brands). Low-quality bulbs emit radiation that burns and dulls the lens from the inside.
